Step by Step: How we helped Corie

Grow from $1 million to $4 million While

Slashing His Hours From 80-100 per Week to just 30-40...

Watch the video below first then discover the exact step-by-step

process we used to get Corie his incredible results.

Here's How We Did It:

Corie owns a service business, and for the last 10 years, he has been stuck at $1 million a year.

He knew that he needed to break through $1 million, and tried everything he knew how to do, but no matter what he did, he was spending the $1 million that he was bringing in, making him break even, without profit.

For years, he knew that he was overworking and underpaying himself, and felt frustrated that he was achieving less than his potential.

He knew that he could do better, the market opportunities were out there, but he couldn’t find how to capitalise on them.

On the personal front, he was suffering. He wasn’t getting any personal time to spend with his two young children, as he didn’t give himself the time to have a life outside of his business.

Corie’s life was work, work, work, with no end in sight. Work took all priority.

Corie even had purchased a nice boat with the intention of spending time with his family on it. It never made it to the water and it sat in his front yard never used.

That's when we introduced Corie to the Freedon System™ - a proven, structured approach for growing a company while working substantially less hours.

This is how it worked for Corie.

Phase 1: Make

Assessing Corie’s situation, we showed him how to make a leveraged profit, which required leverage through good quality people and quality systems.

We worked with him to build a marketing system that would provide a steady stream of quality leads, followed by a sales system that would CONVERT the leads to sales.

Through these systems, his team found themselves in a positive cycle as these systems provided them sufficient work with constant and consistent incoming business.

Building these systems required Corie to understand that he had to make a significant shift in his own mindset and skill sets to make this leveraged profit.

Phase #2: Manage

In Phase 1, we got Corie into a position where his business was making more money, but this wasn’t enough.

Now it was time to manage that money so that he could build the true leverage in the business. I reiterated to Corie that you don’t need more money to make money, but you do need to learn how to manage and control it to turn your money into true profit.

Something I’ve observed in a lot of businesspeople is thinking that if only they made more money, all their problems will be solved.

Essentially, they fail to change their mindset that the way they’re managing their money needs to change, and while they make more money, their problems aren’t solved, just amplified.

We showed Corie the best way to manage his money, because even though he was making $1 million, he was also spending $1 million.

He was breaking even and never getting ahead, even though by all accounts his business had what it took to be profitable.

We also showed Corie how to manage the productivity in his team, get his financial reports under control, and manage his cash flow effectively so that he could maximize the Return on Investment of what he was putting into his business.

We then showed him how to use some of that money more effectively.

These became the critical structures, systems, and people required to leverage his business and create more profit.

Phase #3: Keep

Once Corie put these necessary structures in place that would help him unlock growth and profits, he quickly grew to make $4 million. A big difference from where he started!

Corie’s whole life changed.

He reduced his work week from 80-100 hours per week to only 30 hours.

He had 50+ more hours a week for his family, and for himself.

That boat of his finally made it into the water and he enjoys regular fishing trips with his family and friends.

Corie was out of the woods so to speak with his new-found profitability, but he had to learn how to maintain what he had achieved so to not squander it.

Corie had put in the necessary hard work to build profit, so he wasn’t going to stop there and just let it all crumble only to have to build it all up again.

We wanted to see him get out of the vicious cycle that we see too many businessmen fall victim to.

In order to maintain what he had achieved, he had to recognise his own responsibility for his own success while acknowledging that his team were critical to his financial success and supporting him in his business endeavours.

He still needed to be the driver of his business.

He embraced his individual responsibility as well as the role of his team by working to build trust and openness with his team that included his accountant, financial planner, bookkeeper, commercial solicitor, bank manager, and mentor just to name a few.

Team members that are likely not much different than yours.

Through this trust, he became transparent with his team members, and they became more invested in his growth, recognising that his success meant their success as well.

Phase #4 – Grow

By this phase, Corie had built a profitable business that gave him more time with his family, more money in his pocket, and allowed his team to benefit from his business growth.

Now came the fun part where Corie could scale his business for even greater freedom and play a larger game in terms of where he took his business.

What is your goal for your business?

It may be to expand, franchise, extract profits to build a property, increase your portfolio of shares, get into new shares of the market, or just continue to grow what you have as your vehicle to more time and more freedom.

With Corie, we helped him grow a second sister business that started to make a great profit.

When we caught up with him a few months ago, he told us that he is already on track to do $6 million this financial year, and has goals to grow to $8-10 million in the next two years.

With this level of profit, he is gearing up to hire a General Manager, who will allow him to let go of some of the reigns of day-to-day management.

It was important for Corie to recognise that the Grow phase was only made possible once he carefully and intentionally went through all phases.

Through the hard work he did, he got to the point where he was able to play the bigger game which Phases 1 through 3 became the building blocks for.

At this point, scaling and growing his business became enjoyable and not a burden that became a time, energy and life sucker.

Success Stories From Other Australian Businesses

Matt Manning &

Andrew Gorman

Gone from $1.5mill to $4.5mill in 2 years and are on track to hit $7-8 mill

this financial year.

Before Coaching, life was extremely stressful.  They were trying to do everything from quoting, running jobs, accounts, admin, still on the tools.

They have 3x'd their business over the last 2 years, where they now have this amazing team that are committed to the business.

Life is less stressful and they now have an amazing work AND home life.

Nathan Gill

From $150k to $240k months

with more family time & less stress

Nathan was your typical stressed out trades business owner between $1-$3mill, wearing all the hats, doing more than 60 hours a week.

Over the last 12 months he has increased his monthly revenue by 60% which has enabled him to hire an Admin Assistant, a BDM and a PM.

As a result, Nathan is less stressed, and is spending more time with his wife and children.

Zac Eaton

3x'd his Turnover and Profits

with more quality time with his family

Zac was wearing all the hats in the business, where his whole life was consumed by work. It made him feel guilty that he couldn’t spend the time that he wanted to with his family.

In the last 18 months, his turnover and profit has tripled (3x) by getting his operational structure in place to give him the time to focus on actually growing his business.

The best thing is that when he spends time with his family, he is now present with them, not stressing or worrying about business.

Luke Collins

From $1mill to $3.5mill p/a, 5x Net Profit, personally happier than ever

Luke found himself in a situation where he was ‘comfortable’. Working for wages, not having the time freedom he desired from his business.

After 2 years with Pravar he is on track to go from $1mill to $3.5mill in turnover p/a with a 5x increase in Net Profit.

The best part is that his team are happy, he is happy, where his boat (business) has a steering wheel and he is in control of it.

Oliver Ball
Delegated the busy work for more family time

When Oliver "hit the wall" after six years of operating his carpentry business, he wanted to get out of the stagnancy, but didn't know how to.

The Freedom System allowed him to reduce his work hours on the road and delegate operational tasks to the right people, which gave him the time to focus on driving larger profit margins on each job and more time to spend with his young family.

Matt Ferris
Biggest year in revenue in 20 years all whilst reducing his hours to 40 hours per week

Matt knew there were opportunities out there but didn’t have the right operational structure and systems in place to seize them.

Coaching has enabled him to build an operational team around him which has freed him up to work ON the business and focus on strategic growth.

The best part is that he leaves work at work and spends quality time with his family.

Tony Raneberg
More Profit with less stress and work

Tony was in business for 10 years but he was barely making ends meet and was always tired, stressed and angry.

He found that his business problems consumed him.

The Coaching Program showed him how to optimise the profitability of his business.

Tony is working less hours with less stress and he is generally a lot happier, spending more time with his family.

Greg Greenwood, GRK Plumbing, Drainage & Gas Fitting

"Our major focus in the coaching program has been in increasing the profitability of the Maintenance Department within GRK Plumbing.

We have since seen a 100% increase in turnover, doubled the size of the team and brought on 2 new tradesman. The maintenance department is now a stand-alone profitable arm of the business."

Brad Cooper, EvaporGas

"I originally reached out to Rob because I felt trapped in my business. I didn’t know where I was going and I had lost direction. I felt I had hit a glass ceiling, where I physically could not see how I could do anymore work.

Over the last 6 months, the changes have been fantastic. Coaching has really opened my eyes and changed the way that I think. As we speak, I am looking at closing a deal which will blow my turnover out of the water.

It is hard to believe that in such a short time, that things can change so much. Now I am in a position where a 2 man band will expand rapidly to a business of 6 – 8 employees. This year is looking really exciting."

Robert Smedley, Smedley Engineers

"I had only just started working for myself. I was floundering in my direction and motivation to grow the business.

I was turning over a substantial income, but it wasn’t producing for me a satisfaction in the work I was doing. I didn’t feel like I had the tools or the ability to excel beyond that.

Since starting Rob's coaching just 6 months ago, I have significantly increased the business; roughly quadrupled the amount of revenue each month. So much so now I recently landed a couple of single customers that produce the revenue that I was earning prior to working for myself.

This year’s projection is for me to further quadruple the business and I have plans currently in place for another engineer to join the business and another 2 to join the business before the year is out.”
