Andrew Drysdale

Andrew Drysdale married his childhood sweetheart Helen and together they’ve raised three amazing young men. All but one of the kids have grown, leaving his youngest son and two German Shepherd goofballs, Hunter and Shadow, at home.

Anything to do with cars, 4×4 adventuring and fishing is relaxation therapy, as is watching QLD beat NSW in Origin. Supporting his youngest son to become a professional race car driver by being mechanic, team manager, mobile ATM, and cheer squad is something that’s become possible in the last couple of years.

As a business owner, Andrew started out as a Business Coach and Consultant to the Construction Industry almost 20 years ago. After almost 9 years as a coach, he went on to build his own Construction Company. Being in business was a way to earn more than traditional employment offered and to build a future enterprise that gave his sons more choices when they reached adulthood. After building the business, the focus on succession planning to replace himself at the helm with his sons was put into play.

Coming from a childhood spent living on the street, surrounded by poverty and hardship, Andrew witnessed firsthand the impact that has on children and families. Now, with a solid business model in place, and time to enjoy with Helen and their family, Andrew’s embarking on building affordable housing for homeless women and children alongside Helen and his sons.

Andrew believes Coaching is a calling that brings with it responsibility to give everything of himself to help his clients in their own journey. As someone that’s walked a mile in the shoes of his clients, Andrew offers an ability to see issues from their point of view as well as contributing as a mentor, offering an ‘outside-looking in’ perspective. Put simply, his passion as a Coach is helping his client succeed.
