Derek and his wife Mandy have been married for over 25 years. Together they have raised two boys who have now moved out of home leaving the couple to enjoy their active lifestyle at home on the Gold Coast.

Derek loves sports and has a real passion for keeping fit and healthy in body & mind. After a potentially life changing accident, Derek has constantly challenged himself physically and mentally culminating in the completion of over 150 triathlon and multisport events, including an Ironman Triathlon in 2018.

Working primarily in the building materials industry for the past 35 years Derek has excelled in senior roles of National Sales & Marketing, General Management and Operations Management.

As a coach, Derek gains his greatest satisfaction in seeing the clients he is responsible for, grow and achieve on a professional and personal level seeking to help others improve themselves on a holistic level.
