Pravar Conference & Awards 2026 – Celebrating the year that has been

Two communities, one incredible event. This episode takes you inside Pravar’s 2026 Annual Conference & Awards in Port Douglas, where our Lifestyle and Legacy clients came together for the first time ever to celebrate the 2026 Financial Year.

Four awards were handed out this year:

👉 The Bevan Award (our nod to consistency and habits) went to Jake Mohr of Powermate. Over the past 12 months he’s brought his business and personal life into real alignment, building strong health habits and showing up more fully as a husband and dad while his business kept climbing.

👉 The Transformation Award went to Danny Hipwell of Bendigo Building Repairs, now affectionately known in the group as “D2 Danny.” After years of self-doubt, he made the decision to close the door on old limitations for good, and the shift has been remarkable to witness.

👉 The Breakthrough Award went to Matt Ryan of MTR Electrical. Since his last appearance on the podcast, he’s scaled from million-dollar years to million-dollar quarters, built out real structure in his business, and started taking genuine time off with his family, even in a tough Victorian market. 👉 The Excellence Award went to Dave Wilcox of Common Ground. What started as a handful of people has grown into a national operation with 60-70 employees, all built around his mission to get people outdoors. He shared the moment on stage with his wife, a reminder that this was never a solo effort.
